Lucas Moesch is a Brazilian/American film and video editor whose work has been recognized by some of the world's leading creative and film institutions, including the Cannes Film Festival, Cannes Lions, Clio Awards, CICLOPE, Shots, Hot Docs, La Biennale di Venezia, Premiers Plans d'Angers, IndieLisboa, the Berlin Music Video Awards, and the Sharks Awards.

Working across commercials, feature films, documentaries, and music videos for nearly two decades, Lucas has developed an editorial style defined by cinematic storytelling, emotional precision, and contemporary visual language. Whether shaping intimate performances or large-scale commercial campaigns, his work balances narrative clarity with bold visual rhythm.

His projects have received honors including a Silver Lion at Cannes Lions, Grand Clio, Grand Prix at CICLOPE Latino, Gold Awards at CICLOPE and the 1.4 Awards, Silver at the Shots Americas Awards for Best Editing, Special Mention of the Jury at the Cannes Film Festival, and multiple awards across international film and advertising festivals. He has also been recognized as one of Eyecandy's Best Editors of the Year and has served as a jury member for internationally respected industry awards, including the UK Music Video Awards (UKVMA).

A graduate in Cinema from PUC-RS, Brazil, with a specialization in Expanded Cinema, Lucas approaches editing as emotional architecture—crafting rhythm, performance, image, and sound into films that feel instinctive, immersive, and emotionally resonant.

Lucas has collaborated with globally recognized brands including OpenAI, WhatsApp, Instagram, Meta / Ray-Ban, Red Bull, KidSuper, O Boticário, Dove, Netflix, Verizon, Samsung, Budweiser, McDonald's, Estée Lauder, Huggies, Spotify, Walgreens, Etsy, Shutterfly, Procter & Gamble, Smirnoff, Campari, and Four Seasons.

His commercial work is known for merging cinematic craft with strategic storytelling, creating films that resonate across television, digital, and social platforms while maintaining a strong narrative identity.

Lucas is represented by The Quarry for the United Kingdom and European markets and by BANDIT Editorial in the United States, collaborating internationally with leading directors, agencies, brands, and production companies.

Narrative & Documentary

Alongside his commercial career, Lucas has established an international presence through narrative and documentary filmmaking.

His editorial work includes Bad for a Moment, which received a Special Mention of the Jury at the Cannes Film Festival before winning Best Editing at Caminhos do Cinema Português; Alice, winner of Best Short Film at the Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival; Abril de Helena, recipient of the Novíssimos Award at IndieLisboa; and What Remains, winner of the Grand Jury Prize for Best European Short Film at Premiers Plans d'Angers and Best Short Film at IndieLisboa.

His earlier feature work includes Man Proposes, God Disposes, which received a Special Mention at the Calgary International Film Festival following its premiere at the Shanghai International Film Festival.

Music Videos & Artistic Projects

Lucas has edited internationally acclaimed music videos and hybrid visual projects celebrated for their cinematic language and editorial ambition.

His work on Sonho by Nego Bala earned a Silver Lion at Cannes Lions, a Grand Clio, a Grand Prix at CICLOPE Latino, Best Narrative at the Berlin Music Video Awards, and Best Music Video at the Sharks Awards, while also receiving nominations for Best Editing at the AICP Post Awards, CICLOPE, and the Berlin Music Video Awards.

Inside The Blind Iris, created with Botis Seva and Far From The Norm, premiered at La Biennale di Venezia before winning Gold at both CICLOPE and the 1.4 Awards, in addition to receiving a Creative Circle Awards shortlist for Best Editing.

His collaboration with Rubel on Ouro / Reckoner received Gold at the 1.4 Awards and Bronze at the Shots Awards, while his edit of Megan Thee Stallion's Hiss reached #1 on YouTube and the iTunes charts.
